Pages are a Class Conjure, a type of Open Conjuration that brings forth a being who holds a specific ‘Class’ in service or connection to their immortal. Open Conjurations allow for a conjuration from any Immortal I presently work with or can expand to work with more greatly. This does not apply to all Immortals, only those I have a resonance with. Pages are beings who live within Immortal Realms or strongly Immortal aligned Realms. They have dedicated themselves to learning the ways of their Immortal, wading in the shallows of mysteries and power. Pages are studious individuals who fall within the lower ranks of a hierarchical organization dedicated to their honored immortal. The duties of a Page depend on their organization and Immortal. Some serve as research assistants, some serve as guides and guardians to people in non-Immortal aligned places to help them along the path of their Immortal, and some handle smaller duties, whatever needs to be done. Pages can be considered roughly equivalent to the lowest ranking of angels, if that helps. As for the race of Pages, it largely depends on who their honored Immortal is. Different Immortals tend to attract different races around themselves.
Pages have a variety of capabilities, often serving as a jack of all trades, and frequently are capable of both martial skill and magickal casting, their strengths determined by who they serve. They are focused on learning, study, and self-mastery, dedicated to the ways of their Immortal. Although one may associate the term ‘Page’ as one who is inexperienced, their ranking comes in comparison to far more powerful beings. Pages actually have the rough equivalent of three human lifetimes of knowledge and experience, and that is only considered an accurate comparison if said humans spent their lives learning and mastering continually. Pages are beings who qualified to be inducted within their organization, meaning they were already plenty capable beforehand.
In these Immortal Realms and strongly Immortal-aligned Realms, overall pursuit of goals have a foundation of fulfillment. A Page does not necessarily have the ambitions of climbing the ladder of the hierarchy of their organization or order, their focus being on what feels the best and most fulfilling for them. As a result, some remain Pages for a long time, and this is completely fine for them. They lack the overall spiritual fervor that might be found within the higher rankings of their organization, finding their draw to serve their order more out of interest, curiosity, or loyalty. Regardless of reason, they all harbor a deep respect for their honored Immortal and always seek to serve them.
If you are either curious about an Immortal or interested in a potent companion with varied capabilities, a Page is definitely something to consider. They make for excellent companions who can further help you learn along the path of their honored immortal and often provide aid in unexpected ways.
Naturally, working with and honoring a Page’s Immortal is going to allow for stronger interactions, bonding, and an improved ability to bring their power forward for both Immortal and Page. However, this is not necessary to build a successful relationship with your Page.
