Hades CerberHydra

CerberHydras are a fantastic form of being that I was introduced to upon my first interaction with Hades. I discovered that the way I connected to Hades, he was in a way… a mad scientist. He enjoyed working with things that had yet to “exist.” CerberHydras do not exist “naturally,” and instead are something Hades cooked up as a bit of fun sometime late last year.

CerberHydras are a combination of Cerberus and Hydra forms, they appear as a three-headed dog dragon filled with terrifying and titanic powers. They are extraordinarily intelligent, and instead of consisting of three separate minds tied to a single body, the three heads of a CerberHydra think and act as one being, sort of like a hive mind or a supercomputer. Their energy is all over the Dark Arts spectrum, and they can have an incredibly large variety of forms, looks, abilities, and areas of influence from the size of a bull and having adept control of fire and war energies to being the size of a couple houses with powers over chaos, gravity, and prosperity. No two CerberHydras are the same, and each and every single one of them is created exclusively for their keepers. I do not suggest them for beginners as their energy can be overwhelming, and they require a bit of expertise in sensing to truly understand what the keeper is working with.

Owning a CerberHydra is also no small feat. They can be stubborn, churlish, and are not ones who like to be ignored. Because of this, they will find ways to get their keepers attention after long periods of inactivity, which may include a string of bad luck. This is not true for ALL CerberHydras as there are those who are more patient and encouraging, but for those who enjoy working with spirits who are a little more “in your face,” CerberHydras are a perfect match. They also do not mind huge spirit families, so long as they are paid attention to in some capacity. In a way, because of their incredible intellect, they can be prone to large egos, and some may feel as if you are not living up to your fullest potential by not paying attention to a superior being. Itd be fair to say that it is even inconceivable to them and they find it foolish. So them being annoyed about not being paid attention to is actually a way that they show they care.

For those who choose to adopt a CerberHydra, you will find many challenges and many rewards. A CerberHydras ultimate goal is to help you uncover your own strengths and truest potential, and it is not uncommon for them to put obstacles in your life that you will be forced to overcome so you can become stronger. This is not too unlike the goals of many Immortals, and it is truly a blessing to have a being of such duality, but it is a blessing that you need to be able to comprehend to truly appreciate these beings. In the end you will prosper, but a CerberHydra will set up the appropriate obstacles to ensure that you will know how to appreciate it and make sure it lasts.

Naturally, having one of these entities in your spirit family means that you can also gain a stronger connection to Hades, if you want to pursue that path. Worship of and/or bonding with Hades is not a necessity, but it may make your CerberHydra even stronger.
