Dionysus' Lords and Ladies of Wine

Dionysus Lords and Ladies of Wine are powerful entities that resonate with carefree, relaxed, and revitalizing energies. They are those who sit on a gilded lounges, being fanned by giant leaves held by beautiful men and women, but at the same time, they would also be the beautiful men and women that are doing the fanning. They do not have a care in the world, always living in the present moment to its fullest. They appreciate luxury, but rather than being selfish and wanting it all for themselves, they also know how to gift luxury, creating the most memorable of experiences. They are kind, gentle, and highly charismatic beings who are attuned to restoration.

Their name “Lords and Ladies of Wine” is more of a title than a literal description. While they do enjoy a good drink and know the best places to get them, they have earned their title for their indulgence of pleasure, their unshackling of societal expectations, and their ability to do exactly what they want and please in spite of everything else, yet always able to walk the fine line of not taking more than is theirs to lay claim to. They are refined and liberated, understanding their desires and needs. They align with the more civilized side of Dionysus power, knowing how to please themselves in luxury but also pleasure in turn. Their indulgence in pleasure leads them to be quite sexually active, and they are often most fond of group play.

The energy of a Lord or Lady of Wine naturally feels fluid and vibrant. They tend to be very easy to pick up on from the start as their fluid energy finds its way through blockages and self-made barriers. They also feel effortless, without a care in the world, and this can help their human companions subconscious relax. While they are sexual, that is not necessarily an activity their human companion needs to engage with. They can have a totally platonic relationship. What they do offer though is freedom from restrictions and inhibitions, whether those are self-imposed, from society, or from the expectations of those around. In the end, they want to help their human companion live a stress free, fulfilling life, and they will make their keeper keenly aware of all that lies in the way of that path. Sometimes they are direct and explain it, other times they guide their human companion to see the issues for themselves. Each Lord and Lady is different and works in different ways, but in the end, they all lead their keeper to freedom.

Naturally, having a Lord or Lady of Wine in your keep will improve your connection to Dionysus. Working with Dionysus is not necessary to bond with a Lord or Lady of Wine successfully, but if Dionysus takes a liking to you, he may initiate contact.
