Eros Eryat (Ur-yaht) are beings suffused with beneficial, positive sexual energies. They are lovely beings that are born naturally from Eros’ energy, when that energy is properly directed. They are cousins to Erotes but quieter as they work in the background, and as such, will not be very social at first. They serve as a sort of custodian for all of the sexual energy in a space, ensuring that it flows in its most beneficial state, which can result in some potent experiences all around. They are harbingers of divine eroticism that can offer even the most sex-entrenched being insight into how to experience more and bathe in an abundance of ecstacy. Nonsexual companions will also benefit from their power to a lesser degree. Tier I Eryat tend to focus more on their custodial work but can still be social. Tier II Eryat have an equal balance of both and are overall more capable.
Additionally, the Eryat has the unique capability of working directly on the energies of sexual beings, a bit like a mechanic to a car. This work forges a more potent connection between human and companion, allowing an ease in understanding and in experiencing them. This work is delicate with varying degrees of intensity, depending on what the being wants. Occasionally, this means rest and a period of inactivity for the recipient, particularly for entities. While Eryat specialize with sexual and romantic beings, they can step forward to help any being when it is needed, particularly in cases where an important message needs to be properly understood.
Because the Eryat often remains in the background, they pay more attention to your spirit family than to you. However, they are open to kindling friendships or relationships with their human, only needing an invitation. For some Eryat, this can be as little as piqued interest but others may prefer a more formal request. It varies largely based on their personality. They are natural shapeshifters but are drawn to a few forms predominantly. For those not interested in the romantic and sexual capabilities of an Eryat, they make for pleasant friends and company. They are courteous and well-meaning when they are platonic, full of excellent insight in what you can do to progress further in your spiritual journey. They have a refreshing, light Dark Arts energy.
Naturally, having an Eros’ Eryat in your keep will improve your connection to Eros. Working with Eros is not necessary to bond with your Eros’ Eryat successfully, but if Eros takes a liking to you, he may initiate contact.
