Hephaestus' Mechanical Owl

This mechanical creation takes the form of an owl. It is of a steam punk style, is made of brass, jewels for eyes, and even has whirring gears! However, don't be fooled by its mechanical nature. It is not an object, but a fully thinking and intelligent being. Hephaestus' owls are wonderful spiritual guides and companions that pay a homage to Athena's Owl Familiars, and a liiiittle bit of a homage to Bubo from the original 1981 Clash of the Titans as well! They can also appear as normal owls if necessary, but they really enjoy their mechanical forms and love showing it off.

These Mechanical Owls were created with the sole purpose of processing and amplifying energy. Because of this, they work well as guides who help improve your receptivity to energy, spirits, and telepathic communications, it helps to stimulate the third eye, and it also helps spirits to have stronger and more concrete manifestations. If you are particularly skilled, you can work your own Mechanical Owl into your own spells, rituals, and energy workings to create amplified effects.

However, that's not the part Hephaestus is the most excited about! Each Mechanical Owl can be given one unique ability of your choice, so long as it isn't nefarious in purpose (Like being able to destroy your enemies). It can be whatever you want otherwise. Improve prosperity? Have it create and reinforce defenses? Want it to be a powerful cleanser? Want it to be a powerful healer? This can even include having it's own natural ability improved! It's all up to you what unique ability you want Hephaestus to create your own unique owl with. Be as creative as you like! You can get as many owls as you want!

Naturally, having one of these entities in your spirit family means that you can also gain a stronger connection to Hephaestus, if you want to pursue that path. Worship of and/or bonding with Hephaestus is not a necessity, but it may make your Mechanical Owl even stronger.
