Cailleach’s Sapphire Bracelet is an Immortal Artifact created by the Celtic Goddess, Cailleach. An Immortal Artifact is a nonphysical object that resides on the spirit and astral planes. While dubbed a “bracelet”, it is an Immortal Artifact that primarily adorns the wrist when it is in use. It does not “have” to appear as a bracelet. It can be a bracer, a leather cuff, a simple chain, etc. It’s main feature are three sapphires, each holding a unique power associated with Cailleach: Storm, Sea, and Winter. These sapphires can be individually removed or work with directly off the bracelet. Each is a conduit to the raw, core energy of their associated power, enhanced as they flow through and come from Cailleach. Each owner of the bracelet shall have different experiences and shall naturally draw out different capabilities from the sapphires, depending on personality, wants, and needs. I can provide a basic overview for each sapphire, but please note that what I am writing are my own personal associations that I am seeing. You may interpret yours differently.
The first sapphire embodies the power of Storm. Normally appearing as a sky blue, it can change to an almost black blue, stormy grey blue, or grey with a slightly blue tint. Flashes of lightning can occur within the gem and it can sometimes have a static, tingling feeling when handled. It serves as a raw conduit for energies related to storms and sky, from clear day to lofty cloud to the merciless storm, from rain to wind to lightning and thunder. It is associated with power, fury, and atmospheric energy.
The second sapphire embodies the power of Sea. Normally appearing as a vibrant royal blue, it can change from a rich aquamarine color to blue with hints of green to slate grey. Staring within it gives visions of the ocean in various states, from glasslike to raging. It is a conduit for oceanic energies, from the calm and peaceful to the fierce and roiling, from the surface to the bottomless depths, encompassing all inbetween. It is typically associated with movement, emotion, and bounty.
The third sapphire embodies the power of Winter. Normally appearing as a light blue, it can also be varying soft hues of white and blue-white. It is usually covered in frost and has a calming coolness associated with it that can playfully prickle whatever it touches. It is a conduit for Winter in all its innocence and savageness, from a light snow to the relentless blizzard. It encompasses powers of serenity, hardiness, and endurance.
It is quite a complex artifact, filled with awe inspiring capabilities. As you work with it and create a greater resonance, so too shall it work greater with you. In a way, it has its own mind and personality, so long as you treat it with respect, it shall reveal ever unfolding layers of mystery and power in gratitude.
Naturally, having Cailleach’s Sapphire Bracelet will improve your connection to Apollo. Working with Cailleach is not necessary to bond with the Sapphire Bracelet successfully, but if Cailleach takes a liking to you, she may initiate contact.
