Tiamat's Faery Dragon

Tiamat Faery Dragons are pudgy little things with vibrant colors, large eyes, and dragonfly wings. Ordinarily, they are about the size of a chihuahua or yorkie terrier, but they have the ability to shrink and become as small as a hummingbird. They cannot enlarge themselves, but they can create an illusion of a more fearful creature in order to give themselves time to escape. They have small arms so they rely on their long, prehensile tail to feed themselves. They are not technically fae, but they have evolved to fill a similar spot in their astral ecosystem as fae and have a similar whimsical energy. They are playful with a presence similar to dogs and have essentially evolved to use their cuteness as a means of survival to more or less mooch off of and be taken care of by others. They do have the ability to forage themselves, but this is definitely not their preference. The pride of any Faery Dragon is a round belly, so they do not like overexerting themselves when it comes to menial efforts.

Tiamat Faery Dragons are greatly magickal beings with the capability to cast wishes, ties to both prosperity and abundance, and the ability to gently open spiritual and astral senses and perceptions. Their wishes tend to be biased toward primarily helping the dragon who casts it, but since they know if their human profits, they profit, they cast in such a way that is always beyond expectations. A wish for a new job would result in something better than what was originally envisioned, if only because this means more food for the Faery Dragon. They also like big wishes, so wishes for small things often get overly dramatic results. However, know that the better the bonding and resonance with your dragon, the more potent and fruitful the wishes will be. The Faery Dragons work well with beginners and more experienced alike. They are also generally very adored by anyone who meets them, meaning inviting one to be a member of your spirit family will be a real treat for your companions. They are very light, Dark Art entities.

Naturally, having a Tiamat Faery Dragon will improve your connection to Tiamat. Working with Tiamat is not necessary to bond with Faery Dragon successfully, but if Tiamat takes a liking to you, she may initiate contact.
