Hestia's Hearth Stone

The Hearth Stone appears as a plain black stone, about the size of a medium potato. It is an Immortal Artifact, meaning it is a non-physical object that exists on the spirit and astral planes. It is unextraordinary as a black stone, but when its power is active, it will alight with fire from within. This fire will not pass through the stone, but will make it glow and pulse with energy. It is a stone that brings peace and harmony to the home that it rests within. It will naturally gravitate toward the places where there is the most active fire, which could be the fireplace in winter, near a stove at other times, or will even rest on a window. It helps create a warm, inviting atmosphere for everyone who comes within the home, helping to suppress, deter, and banish negative energies and beings who would seek to disrupt this or remain in the home by making the atmosphere unsuitable for them to be fed and flourish.  The Hearth Stone improves relationships, be they familial, romantic, friendships, spiritual or otherwise. It helps to create meaningful communication, heartfelt understanding, and promotes emotional support. It also provides protection to residents of the home to help avoid accidents and to give notice should there be any coming danger.

Naturally, having a Hearth Stone in your keep will improve your connection to Hestia. Working with Hestia is not necessary to bond with a Hearth Stone successfully, but if Hecate takes a liking to you, she may initiate contact.
