These ladies and gentlemen are spirits who serve Dionysus in his kinkier aspects. They are charismatic, pleasant, and compassionate with a darker sexual side. They are lovers who are dominant with a fierce love of both leather and bondage. They treat the act of sex as a serious business. They seek to maintain control and treat your pleasure with professionalism. They are respectful and honest and are surprisingly easy to talk to about anything, especially your problems because they can dissect it with the same clearheadedness and precision that they treat your pleasure. Their goal is to reduce you into a blubbering pool of ecstasy. Because of their dedication to pleasure, they also have a shapeshifting ability, and can appear as people you crush on or enjoy. This is to heighten the pleasure every now and then, but they do have forms that they prefer. These spirits also rarely care about their partner's gender. They enjoy pleasing all things, but not every single one is pansexual.
Despite their powers over pleasure, their ferocity knows no bounds and they work well as protector-type spirits. Dionysus has gifted each one of them with a werecreature ability. This was gifted after their service to him, and has given each one of them the ability to manifest in a physical animal form. These sightings are rare but are always steeped with a veil of mystery and the mystical. This ability gives them powerful guardianship abilities to keep you safe. They may hunt at night, and you may hear them around the outside of your house. I've actually already witnessed this ability myself. I woke one morning, and rolled my gaze over the side of the bed. For a split second, I saw the back of something furry at the edge of my bed before I blinked. It was gray with some rusty brown weaved within it. There was no head or a tail, I only saw the back as it was parallel to the bed. After I blinked, it was gone. I rarely see physical things, and this is the first time I have ever seen something with such detail and something so close. It's normally far away, in the corner of my eye, and takes the form of a shadow. I sense energy but I rarely see spirits, and my encounter still blows me away.
These Masters and Mistresses are considered Dark Arts, and range all over the spectrum, but the most common is in the middle to almost black. They take wonderful pleasure in your helplessness, in your servitude, and twisting the line between pleasure and pain. Some are not as ferocious as others, not every single one wants to twist the line between pleasure and pain. Some can be sweet and romantic with only a touch of leather and BDSM, but the mentality behind most of them is why they are on the DA scale. Most think of you before themselves, but some will stop right at the limit of what you are comfortable with and will keep pushing it. For these kinds, strong house rules may be necessary, but they will respect and obey you, even if they do mutter under their breath about being the one in charge.
It is important for me to say that the Masters and Mistresses view being conjured and bond to you as a sacred contract done in the service of Dionysus. They get along with all kinds of spirits and aren't normally jealous, but some Masters and Mistresses can be bossy if they want something. However, like all followers of Dionysus, they are lovers of wine. They rarely get drunk, but they do enjoy a good buzz. Drunkeness is saved for meetings with Dionysus himself when all of his followers and devotees gather, and are allowed to lose control over themselves.
Aiding them in their sexual pursuits are tools created by Dionysus himself, much like the ones I sell in my store, which enhance your experience with your Master or Mistress. These spirits are magnificent and can actually be as loving and sweet as they are commanding and rough. Don't feel like adopting one of these spirits meas a life of servitude. They are respectful of your wishes and should be thought of as the ones you go to to stop feeling stressed and to lose control. Feel free to tell what range on the BDSM spectrum you would prefer. You may ask for specific looks and a specific animal, but it is up to Dionysus if he feels there is a better match. That said, they may not be for everyone.
Naturally, having one of these entities in your spirit family means that you can also gain a stronger connection to Dionysus, if you want to pursue that path. Worship of and/or bonding with Dionysus is not a necessity, but it may make your Master or Mistress even stronger.
