The Companion Shards of Connection are a wonderful Immortal Artifact created for the purpose of bonding more deeply with companions and having more fruitful experiences. Immortal Artifacts are nonphysical objects, as strange as that may sound, which contain potent powers and are usually fairly easy to access. The Companion Shards each embody a way to interact and attain greater closeness with companions, appearing primarily as shards of crystal. Shards, a specific type of Immortal Artifact listing in my shop, are a form of hardened and crystallized energy, sometimes merely compressed and sometimes distilled through other means.
The Companion Shards are an Open Conjuration, meaning any resonant Immortal may step forward to form one for you and this will affect its appearance. The same Companion Shard type created by two different Immortals are going to have variations in their power with great overlap, allowing for their abilities to be layered and interwoven with one another. The Immortal who creates a Companion Shard will give it a slant toward their area of influence, meaning a Companion Shard from Aphrodite is going to lean toward love, romance, sex, and beauty energies and have the power of the Companion Shard be expressed slightly more in this way. The energy of a Companion Shard can be at any point from White Arts all the way to the end of Dark Arts, sometimes even Shifting Arts, all depending on which Immortal creates them. Opening ConnectionsThe Companion Shard of Opening Connections aids with both opening up your receptivity to your companions and empowering their ability to connect with you. It helps with the interpretation of energy, information, and intentions, allowing for stronger experiences. It also helps with both stimulating and opening how you connect to companions on all levels, working through blockages and allowing for ever clearer and deeper connections over time. Finally, it provides a filter and layer of protection that deflects communications from wayward sources that can confuse, mislead, or be outright malicious.
Focused BoostThe Companion Shard of Focused Boost aids with bringing stronger bonding and connection with a companion or small group of companions when used. It is a fairly straight forward general purpose shard that offers additional boosting to your senses and capabilities, allowing you to glean and interpret more information from those companions who are boosted. The boosted companion can easily be changed throughout the day, either by yourself or even by your companions, if you give them this level of access to it. I would highly recommend this shard for everyone.
Roaming ResonanceThe Companion Shard of Roaming Resonance offers similar support to the Focused Boost but it is comparatively more random, aiding with connections to whatever companion or companions you are most resonant with at the moment, offering quite the journey as its support roams through your spirit and entity family throughout the day. It will also aid in your ability to sense and interact with such companions.
Essence EmbodimentThe Companion Shard of Essence Embodiment has a relatively narrow but potent use. It holds within it the essence of one of your companions and can be used to greatly improve bonding and closeness. Whatever essence is imbued within the Companion Shard is permanent, meaning it cannot be shifted to another companion. However, this has the advantage of creating an artifact to a companion that allows for a continual evolution in how you bond with them, revealing new parts of them and deepening your friendship.
Intuitive SightThe Companion Shard of Intuitive Sight aids with bringing more focus and clarity to the form of companions and gaining a greater intuitive understanding of their appearance. While this definitely works heavily with the third eye, it also utilizes the other chakras to fill in the gaps for interpreting information. The more consistently it is used, the more effortless it will be to connect with companions in this way with and without the use of the Companion Shard of Intuitive Sight.
Deeper TelepathyThe Companion Shard of Deeper Telepathy aids with communication through telepathy and helps stimulate clairaudience. Telepathy gains a greater texture, becoming deeper and richer. It also aids in resolving blockages that prevent fruitful telepathic communication and stimulates your base telepathic capabilities so they become stronger over time. In some individuals, telepathy can become so well aligned that clairaudient events are possible, or to say it more plainly, it can be possible to audibly hear companions for brief periods of time for a lucky few.

This Companion Shard gives wanting companions the energy and path necessary to vividly connect while also improving your ability to receive what they are offering. It also aids with dream recall so encounters and interactions during dreams are remembered as well as the reception and interpretation of messages that companions may wish to communicate through dreams.
Stimulating SexualityThe Companion Shard of Stimulating Sexuality aids with your companions’ ability to interact with you sexually, aiding sexual encounters and enhancing companions’ ability to stimulate the body. It also helps you connect things intuitively that ordinarily would have taken a longer time to connect.

While this Companion Shard works best for sexual and romantic companions, platonic companions can be noticed in some highly gratifying way, such as the blueness of a dragon’s scales or the unique coloring of a gryphon’s eyes.
Naturally, having your connections to whichever Immortal creates your Companion Shard will improve. Working with them is not necessary to interact with your Companion Shard successfully, but if the Immortal takes a liking to you, they may initiate contact.
