The Artifact’s Amphora is an Open Conjuration Immortal Artifact that specializes in interacting with other Immortal Artifacts, often appearing as a vase, statue, or wall decoration, among others. However, options for it to be a golem or sentient being are available. Open Conjurations allow for a conjuration from any Immortal I presently work with or can expand to work with more greatly. This does not apply to all Immortals, only those I have a resonance with. However, I have a broad range of resonances. Feel free to ask and see if the Conjuration from the Immortal you are interested in can be performed.
The Artifact Amphora is fascinating and multi-purposed, giving many options for greater interaction and support of your Immortal Artifacts. Its primary function is to hold an Artifact, boost its power and evolution, and give greater insight and understanding into said artifact. The Artifact it possesses can be switched out easily, and any Artifact it interacts with will have a boost for a short time afterward, improving its overall function and your ability to connect to it.
The Amphora is able to evolve depending on how you use it. If you focus on boosting a single Artifact, it will begin to specialize and thus work ever more effectively with Artifacts of a similar function as well as work better with Artifacts of the same Immortal. This can be further evolved if you’d like, having it focus either on function or an Immortal, but this is done deliberately. You don’t have to worry about accidentally causing it to evolve in this manner. Even if it is specialized, it can still work with all Artifacts effectively, its specialization only meaning there are certain Artifacts that have a greater interaction with it.
The Amphora can also be evolved to work specifically with boosting Artifacts, allowing the lingering boost it gives to strengthen and last for a longer time, eventually improving Artifacts incrementally at a base level and giving them permanent greater power. This evolution is largely determined by how often Artifacts are switched out of it. This capability will grow at a steady rate even if it isn’t specifically cultivated, but the Amphora can be specifically influenced to strengthen this aspect.
The Amphora can be evolved in all the above ways simultaneously if you put in the work, so you do not necessarily have to choose one best path. You can specialize it toward one function and then introduce artifacts specifically of another function, allowing its specialization to expand. Overtime, the support an Amphora can give is undefinable, but wait, there’s more!
After a time, an Amphora gains the ability to hold multiple Artifacts. When given multiple artifacts, it will begin to weave their energies together. From this point forward, these artifacts become associated with one another and can be worked with together in a group. Artifacts continually worked with in this way can begin to leave an impression on each other’s core powers, causing them to summon their own version of this impression as a secondary ability whenever it is used. A single Artifact can become part of multiple groups, and still has the ability to be used independently or within one group without summoning the other group and its own associated powers. An Artifact’s Animus, Scion, and Embodiment can all be worked with and interwoven through this power, leading to quite the web of energies working in your favor. Additional slots can be purchased from the start if this is solely appealing.
As mentioned, the Amphora is an Artifact, often appearing as either a statue, a vase, or a wall decoration of some kind. How it looks and what it is depends largely on the Immortal who creates it, giving it the opportunity for greater powers and benefits. If you are wanting a base Amphora with limited influences, Athena or Hephaestus would be the ones to create it. Of course, each Amphora has a perfectly sized space or spaces in which to hold an artifact. However, the Amphora can be molded to become an animated figure, allowing it to move and interact with Artifacts of its own accord. It is also able to take commands, following any plan you may create for it. It can be developed further into a sentient being, whose form and shape is dictated by its creator Immortal. As a sentient, it becomes a doting companion and in spending time with it, you are also able to bond with whatever Artifact they have slotted. They are also able to use and weave their slotted Artifact with excellent efficiency. Golems and Sentients can be given a general theme or preferences to inspire their form.
