The Artifact Animus is a process that gives an Immortal Artifact a form of some kind, allowing their inner powers to be expressed in new and different ways. This form blossoms directly from the artifact. The Artifact is absorbed by this process and can no longer be used in its older form, but it may be displayed on the Animus in some way. An Artifact Soul bloomed from a pearl may have its former pearl form on its forehead or chest if it is a creature, as an example. If it becomes a humanoid, they may wear some form of pearl jewelry that is representative of it. Other forms are also possible. The Artifact Animus is a spontaneous birth, and as such, it cannot be molded or shaped in any form. There are different tiers for this service available, but it is important to know that even at the lower tier, the Artifact Animus will still grow and evolve. Artifacts that are grouped are awakened as a group so this rule applies as if they are one Artifact, such as Cailleach’s Sapphire Bracelet. This could result in a single being that has consumed all associated Artifacts or separate beings that can fuse. Additionally, despite becoming an Animus, an Artifact can still be evolved through its appropriate Upgrade service, if it can be upgraded. Tiers are available with a higher tier meaning greater power and capability.
