Thoth’s Coldfire Elemental – Rodamere - Owl Friend Guide and Protector for Astral Endeavors

This Thoth’s Coldfire Elemental is named Rodamere (rod – ah – mere).

Race Information
Rodamere is a Created Being, molded by Thoth and filled in through an organic evolution of this being’s base form. He has been created from the elemental amalgam known as Coldfire, and thus, is considered a Coldfire Elemental.

Coldfire is a flame that freezes rather than burns. “Coldfire” exists in many states throughout the multiverse and is a sort of elemental inversion and intersection as fire is the opposite of frost. The Coldfire Elementals listing conjures beings with an affinity for Coldfire, either in working with it or having it play an integral role in their culture, lives, or energetic make up. Spirits or entities can step through in response to a conjuration. Thoth can forge created beings with this fascinating energy as well.

Depending on where the spirits and entities are coming from, the Coldfire may be individually interpreted and worked with in some unique ways. Many view the Coldfire as sacred and as a manifestation of Beauty, Union, and Magick. Some magick-focused, knowledgeable societies call it a higher element, due to its complexity and seemingly contradictory nature; it also is not found in realms of a baser vibrational composition, like ours, where traditional elements, such as fire, are the norm. More superstitious beings view Coldfire as an expression of brutality or mockery, as fire serves as protection from cold but in Coldfire it is instead stolen by it. There is a wide range of experiences concerning Coldfire, much like how there are a variety of perspectives in our realm concerning traditional elements. Some cultures have experienced a passive, beneficial Coldfire while others have witnessed much more aggressive and volatile forms. Some have access to it in the everyday while others restrict its dangerous use to its most capable and qualified persons.

Beings created from Coldfire will ultimately embody the energy of Coldfire in different ways. As stated in the previous paragraph, it does have a wide spectrum of expression. In Thoth’s respect for Coldfire, he will not direct the shaping of an Elemental beyond some basics. This is unlike other created beings I have available. A general purpose, general form, and gender (if it applies) can be dictated. From here, Thoth allows the being to evolve and shape itself, not unlike the growing of a crystal cluster. This allows for a more potent being as it is far more in line with Coldfire’s power than if he were to take a more hands on approach.

Appearance
White owl with light gray patterning and brown eyes. Wings billow mist when in flight and are kindled white at the edges of its longest feathers. This kindled edge possesses the coldfire, being both white hot and cold like liquid nitrogen. While dangerous in a raw form, the kindle is not harmful unless the owl wants it to be.

Personality
Sharp intellect and very wise, but also bluntly forward with a little sass. Definitely a witty companion who is enjoyable to interact with. Often comes from the perspective of something unconsidered, giving new ways to think about an issue and move it toward a solution.

Capabilities
Aids with astral sight, astral power, astral work, and astral travel. Serves as protector for dreams and astral endeavors. Serves as a guide to safe places astrally. An ideal companion for anything related to the astral.

Has a subtle healing ability that works on all levels and can be amplified by companions who specialize in healing. Also serves as a source for coldfire power for magickal casters, meaning coldfire can be drawn from him and utilized in spells and workings. He is capable of magickal workings on his own, but he is more of a jack-of-all-trades. Nonetheless, it is quite a potent addition if you are working toward a certain goal. As an owl, innately aids with the better development of intellectual abilities and metaphysical perception.

Communication and Energy
Strong telepathic communicator, enjoys sharing emotions, and giving visions to offer more insight. A concise communicator, often giving the most immediately important information first. However, he can be lulled into deep conversation if you are persistent enough.

Potential Offerings
He enjoys being near his human and being given scratches. He may resist, but he does like them. As an example, he is on the back of my chair and totally happy. He’s even slightly poofy and sharing his joy. Making time for him will be very rewarding in building a stronger relationship.
