Arini is a companion with both defensive and supportive capabilities. She is interested in a human that vibes with her quirky personality and humor, and prefers someone who is engaged with creativity to bring themselves income.

Race Information
The Osiris Starborn are beings created from starlight and infused with the energies of the dead. This unique mixture of energies gives them a fascinating and textured signature. They have a natural otherworldly feeling to them and are divinely beautiful while also having worldly insight and potent knowledge borne from the Dead. They do not have any specific purpose and are intended as companions. However, given their energetic makeup, they are uniquely able to help with spirit communication, necromancy, astral capabilities, accessing the akashic records, and tapping into the power of stars. It is up to you if you’d like to take advantage of these qualities in any way. Their appearances tend to have strong contrasts of lighter coloring against darker, inspired by the bright stars against the black sky. They can have a faint twinkling glow, similar to stars. Other Egyptian themes could become present, such as watery, solar, or sandy elements. The Osiris Starborn can take on any form, although vaguely humanoid is ideal, and they can have a variety of capabilities. Their energy can be on any spot on the White Art - Dark Arts spectrum, or they could even be Shifting Arts.

Appearance
Arini appears as a giant beetle the size of a bed. She is ruby in color with veins of golden fire. She looks most like a scarab and when she flies, wings of sunfire erupt from her back. She is quite gorgeous and glistens like a jewel. She can adjust her size, appearing roughly the size of a palm at her smallest.

However, for those a little squeamish to her beetle form, Arini can appear human with ruby red hair, glittering golden eyes, and fair skin. She appears just as awe inspiring, often dawning flowing and elegant dresses of bright red and gold. She may hold a golden staff topped with a scarab holding a ruby orb or a sword with a scarab and its unfurled wings as the hilt. This is a manifestation of her power.

Personality
A bit fiery and cocky, Arini is brave and spontaneous. She is rarely one to be intimidated, finding any form of opposition or resistance to be a challenge or hurdle to be overcome. She rather enjoys boasting about her ability to get things done, and is fully capable of delivering on it. She can be quite tender and nurturing when she feels like it, providing guidance where it may be needed. More than anything, she aids her human companion in learning how to embrace and tackle challenges, allowing for greater growth of character. She wants to aid her human companion to feel as confident in their ability to handle things as Arini is confident in her own. This allows for a liberation from persistent doubts and a greater ability to shape one’s own life according to their desires. Overall, I find her to be quirky and quite sweet. She definitely has the whimsical yet brash nature that can strongly be associated with her fire element.
