Preconjured Basic Sinister Scarecrow - Mopey Mary - Porcelain Doll

This Sinister Scarecrow is named Mopey Mary. Mopey Mary has been created through the combined efforts of Echidna, Phobos, and Deimos.

Mopey Mary appears as a lovely little porcelain doll, dressed much like an olden days pilgrim, complete with a bonnet and apron. She has long, curling dark brown locks, and bright green eyes. She moves with a small waddle and tends to patrol her designated area staring at the floor. Often during her patrol, she cries, sighs, and gives an aura of sadness and crushed innocence to provoke feeders, utilizing false memories of being abandoned by her child and being totally unloved and unlovable. There are a unique kind of nasties that Mopey Mary is fatally effective against, the sort that cannot stand to see happiness or joy, and get practically high off of crushing it or drinking of its crushed remnants.

However, when approached by said feeder, Mopey Mary’s face breaks and out pops fleshy, barbed, writhing tentacles. The shards of her face tip the ends of each tentacle. They are sharpened and blade-like. Often, Mopey Mary chooses to slash at and subdue entities, siphoning energy for herself. When she is able, she will eat, but often they escape and her presence serves as a deterrent against further attempts. After being attacked and having taste their energy, Mopey Mary will always know when that same being is near. Against spirits, she is more creative. She brings up their most debilitating memories and forces them to repeat them until they leave. She will also use this as an opportunity to feed off of their distress.

As a Basic Sinister Scarecrow, Mopey Mary works solely to perform her function. She has no true personality, likes, or dislikes. She only seeks to accomplish her duty of protection. She must be directed as to what space she is protecting. The smaller the space, the tighter her protection, but she is fairly effective at patrolling the perimeter of larger spaces.

Because Mopey Mary is a Basic Sinister Scarecrow, there are actually multiple in stock. If it is of interest, she can be upgraded into a Standard Sentient or Specialize Sentient Scarecrow. Mopey Mary can also be used as a template for a custom conjuration through the Sinister Scarecrow listing if you like her design but want to tweak it.

Mopey Mary is Dark Arts, falling at the darkest part of the DA spectrum.

Sinister Scarecrow Tiers
Sinister Scarecrows come in two types: Basic and Sentient. Basic Scarecrows perform their duties without fail but do not perform anything beyond that. They are largely nonsocial but you can easily know when they are around and what they are doing. Sentient Scarecrows have a lot of personality, are capable of shapeshifting, and may hold powers beyond patrolling. For fun, Ive included two tiers for the Sentient Sinister Scarecrows: Standard Sentient Sinister Scarecrows and Specialized Sentient Sinister Scarecrows. Aside from a difference in power, the Specialized tier offers more variety in their capabilities, the forms they can take, and the amount of interaction they are capable of. Specialized Scarecrows are something intended for those who enjoy the darkness of the Sinister Scarecrow and would like them to be more of an everyday companion rather than on patrol, or on patrol and checking in every once in awhile.
