An Artifact’s Eidolon is a Created Being brought forth through an Open Conjuration who has an Immortal Artifact as the core and center of their creation. Open Conjurations allow for a conjuration from any Immortal I presently work with or can expand to work with more greatly. This does not apply to all Immortals, only those I have a resonance with. However, I have a broad range of resonances. Feel free to ask and see if the Conjuration from the Immortal you are interested in can be performed.
An Artifact’s Eidolon is formed around the Artifact, the Artifact’s embodied power serving as the source of their creation. Thus, the Artifact can’t be removed, but its power can still be accessed individually. Qualities of the Artifact, its power, and its Creator Immortal are often reflected within the appearance and personality of the Eidolon, but the Eidolon can still be shaped partly according to given preferences. The Eidolon also receives interesting input from the Immortal who shapes them as it does not have to be the Immortal of their source Artifact. Nyx can create an Eidolon from an Aphrodite’s Lavender Pearl of Love, the resulting being having a theme that is reflective of both night and love and having lavender or pink qualities in their appearance, such as flecks within their eyes. This being is then able to draw forth powers of Love from the perspective of Night, and the source Artifact becomes likewise influenced, having Night impressed upon it and allowing it to help you understand how to still offer yourself love in dark and lonely places. They can have further Night or Love related abilities that they can utilize.
An Artifact’s Eidolon serves as a mentor to their Artifact, related Artifacts, and both the Artifact’s and Eidolon’s Creators. As mentioned, they can be shaped according to preferences, but their appearance and personalities can be affected by their Artifact. They can have additional powers derived but separate from their Artifact. Multiple Artifacts can be implemented for the same being for an additional $25 charge per Artifact. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be changed once they are born. If you’d prefer a being in which you can exchange the held Artifacts, look at the Artifact’s Amphora listing.
