PreConjured Boreas Rimescaled Wyvern - Dicanyo - Icy-Colored, Fearsome but Relaxed
This Boreas Rimescale Wyvern is named Dicanyo (die – san – nee - yo). He falls into the category of being a icy-colored Rimescale.
Race Information
Dicanyo is a Boreas Rimescale Wyvern, a race of draconic beings that live within a specific mountainous region in Boreas’ realm of Hyperborea. They come forward as social companions and protectors, especially against other entities. They have a different type of intelligence when compared to Dragons, but they are able to work magick and energy effectively, enabling them to create effects according to their desires. They do not usually have magickal specialties, working decently with magick toward all efforts. They are naturally rich in energies that help support increased metaphysical development.
Something noteworth about the appearance of the Rimescale Wyverns are the various layers of frost and ice covering them, most often their underbellies and backs of their limbs. This gives them a glimmering appearance, especially whenever they are in direct light. Occasionally this frost can grow into a cluster of icicle-like spikes, serving as a sort of armor. It is, of course, far harder than the icicles we experience. Another unique trait is many of their scales end with a glasslike translucence, but this is more prominent and noticeable in icy colors. Their horns and claws also end with a similar glasslike translucence.
Rimescale Wyverns possess the ability to expel a focused blast of luminous energy, akin to a breath weapon. This is used specifically in mating displays rather than in hunting but it is exceedingly potent in power and beauty when needed. When in use, their energy breath refracts off their rimed scales and glassy scale tips, causing a dazzling display.
Rimescale Wyverns come in two categories: bold colored and icy colored. Dicano is an icy colored. Rimescale Wyverns with icy colors have the advantage of blending into their environment, enabling the Wyverns to be ambush pack hunters. Packs normally aren’t larger than three or four, depending on preferred prey. They have more thoughtful and deliberate personalities, often being gentler and more compassionate in regards to their human companion. They are also more composed and have an air of nobility and elegance. For protection, icy colors work best in regards to more nuanced threats, things such as magicked, energetic, or something that requires wile. They observe first and find weaknesses before they strike.
Icy-colored Rimescales bond well with others present and prefer to integrate themselves within a spirit family. They are excellent with cooperation and like becoming a more present part of their human’s life, thinking of their human like a fellow pack mate.
Appearance
Dicanyo appears mostly as a white color tinted slightly toward an ice blue with glassy translucence at the tips of his scales. His very light coloring and glassy translucence makes him look like a glittering ice statue in motion. Honestly, he has quite a ferocious yet beautiful appearance, not unlike a tiger. His eyes are white. He is 15’ from head to tip of his tail and stands around 7’ at the shoulder. He is more lithe than he is sturdy, having an agile and slender form.
His energy breath is glassy in color, being almost transparent with white, icy blue, and a little gold mixed in. It has a form like fire.
Personality
Despite his appearance, he has a relaxed personality. He is quite social and personable; one who likes to be around humans, be around any other form of company, and get nose scritches. Tapping into the feline analogy once again, he’s like an affectionate cat. He is quite loving and very loyal, but at the flip of a hat, he can tear into any threat that would seek to do harm or otherwise negatively impact his loved ones. When he’s not around you, you’ll often find him sunbathing.
Immortal and Conjure Intention
Boreas has chosen Dicanyo for someone who needs to learn how to slow down and relax, ultimately teaching the lesson: you can be chill and still be a bad ass. Of course, his affectionate qualities allow him to brighten anyone’s day. Boreas also felt Dicanyo would be quite happy with a human and an active spirit family.
Capabilities
Dicanyo aids with harmony among one’s spirit family, helping the various energies work together for a more cohesive energetic atmosphere. He also aids with intellectual pursuits, and both energy perception and energy working. His presence is able to bring about sudden and rapid bouts of metaphysical development and evolution. He is also capable of offering a little energy working and magickal assistance for whatever is needed.
Communication and Energy
Dicanyo is a strong communicator with a strong presence and able to tap into limited forms of telepathy, telepathic nudges, and sudden emotions. The process of having a fully detailed conversation with him is nuanced, but you can more or less understand exactly what he is trying to convey. He often brings messages of rest, especially when you are working just a little too hard. He’s a good balance for someone who is a workaholic and often forgets their needs.
Dicanyo is Light Dark Arts. He has energy like a cool mountain wind, a feeling of freshness mixed with relaxing vibes. Although, he has that fierceness even in his energy. It is certainly something to be in awe of.
