Queen's Heart Vampires

The Queen's Heart Vampires are a clan of vampires who originated in Ancient Greece but migrated West with civilization until they had a network spanning from Greece to France. Eventually, they settled exclusively in France. Their numbers have fluctuated with time, but theyve always held one belief as the core of their clan: the superiority of Aphrodite as a goddess. They believe that without her, life would not exist. They think of Aphrodite as their mother and queen, knowing Aphrodite nestles all life close to her heart. They honor her and hold her above all others, working to establish a concrete, personal relationship with her that offers many fulfilling experiences and a lot of mystical power. As a result of this lifelong of honoring and effort, no Queens Heart Vampire truly dies. They simply walk through the veil directly to Aphrodites astral realm when they feel their death approaching and find peace.

They believe in expressing Love, Beauty, Desire, and Lust in all its forms. Each individual vampire is different, working through these various aspects in their own distinct ways. They worked in a close knit community and many thought of themselves as guardians of both life and humanity. A few enjoyed taking up the role of a mysterious stranger who saves someone and then mysteriously disappeared, labeled often mistakenly as an angel. Could you imagine being saved by a gorgeous stranger only to have them disappear the moment you blink your eyes? While quite benevolent, they were no angels. They were not without their rougher edges. Some could be selfish and quite vain, bordering narcissistic. They had their share of noble and rougher characteristics, replicating the duality of their queen. While not true for all, many had quite the network of lovers and it was not uncommon to have orgy parties lasting several days. Others had quite the fondness of invading the dreams of a human, and giving them multiple wet dreams throughout the night and not allowing them to wake until the morning. Some would sit in this persons room and watched their prey in their sleep as they ravished them in their dreams, but others would do this from afar and could even entertain multiple persons at once. As mentioned, each one worked toward their understanding of Aphrodite and her power in different ways, and many loved being experimental. But in the end, it normally always boiled down to pursuit of love.

When we think of love in the modern day, we probably think of glitter fluff and happiness. Its become quite a cliche and cheesy thing. For a Queens Heart Vampire, the word “love” had a specific connotation that doesnt exist as readily today. For them, love embodied a distant and almost painful longing for something that was as beautiful as it was sad, yet made the heart warm and soft. It provoked a myriad of emotion, but thats what it meant to feel alive. For them, love hurt but it hurt because it was beautiful, and anything less than that was only tagged as fondness. They quite enjoyed fondness, cherished it even, but the supreme goal was love. They advocated pursuing the things that made them feel this love with a blinding passion, as it was something that made them feel alive. Theyd break all obstacles down in their way no matter the cost to those around them. If one ever took a fancy to a mortal man or woman, they would pursue them relentlessly until they were theirs, if only for a night. Queens Heart Vampires always know exactly what they want, and never settle for anything less. Once theyve found their prize, youd be hard pressed to convince them otherwise.
