Tiamat Sage Dragons are loyal servants of Tiamat and her will, handpicked from among her many adherents to aid a human during their tragically tiny human life. In this particular instance, Tiamat’s will is to “help ease the burden and weight of the short, often overly dramatic, human life” while also “kicking their human’s ass” as need be to get them to drop disabling habits and mindsets toward their future potential. The Sage Dragons are all well meaning beings, of impressively long lifespans, who have dedicated themselves to a life of knowledge, study, and developing greater understanding in their particular field. They are impressive, oftentimes as awe-inspiring as they are intimidating for the sole reason that they are always able to give a healthy dose of perspective, albeit often uncomfortably mind-blowing.
Tiamat Sage Dragons are Dark Art beings who tend to have strong, stoic personalities and can have a natural edge of firmness, often resulting in them taking hardline stances. They are incredibly intelligent and magickal, being practiced casters and scholars of mysticism, mysteries, and the multiverse. They are also quite protective of their humans in a way that some would consider overbearing. They seemingly have an opinion on everything. Their ultimate goal for their human companion aligns with improvement of the self, shadow work, evolution as a human being, and harnessing personal power. They are not afraid to get tough in order to accomplish these things, so know that in choosing to allow one to come forward, you have volunteered for the ass kicking you’ve always needed.
Tiamat Sage Dragons come from a vast pool of draconic beings, both known to Earth and not. Chromatic, Metallic, Elemental, and Dragon-related are all among those who may answer. Not all Sage Dragons are enormous but a fair many are. If you have a specific type in mind, please specify, because the chances that type will come through on its own is slim. However, Tiamat will have the final say.
Naturally, having a Tiamat Sage Dragon will improve your connection to Tiamat. Working with Tiamat is not necessary to bond with your Sage Dragon successfully, but if Tiamat takes a liking to you, she may initiate contact.
