Hermes Charming Rogues are silver-tongued entities created by Hermes. They are blindingly charismatic and supermodel attractive. They are often quite flirtatious with their human companions, if not downright sexual. They are ones to test the rules and see what they can get away with, especially when it comes to something they really want, so be a little cautious of this quality. They will not do anything that is harmful. Its quite the opposite, if they want to bring a wonderful opportunity in your life but youre the type to say no, even against your better judgment, theyll always be the ones to find the loopholes. They always have their keepers best interests at heart and are prone to sort of “cutting” the corners when it comes to life, frequently giving you sudden bouts of luck and getting you things much sooner than you thought possible. They are wily and ridiculously crafty.
Charming Rogues enjoy modeling themselves after certain roguish archetypes, usually from certain time periods. Old west cowboys and tough bar gals, mobsters with golden hearts, and shifty but stylish business men and women are just a couple of examples. They are easy to connect to and are highly social, capable of audible manifestations. They have a variety of personalities but they all share a penchant for getting into trouble. They help their keepers loosen up, enjoy life, and take nothing for granted. They help their human companions learn how to live life, and often give little boosts when it comes to persuasion and the like.
Charming Rogues are Dark Art beings spanning the entire Dark Arts spectrum.
As beings created by Hermes, Charming Rogues can be shaped according to your desires. Since they will more than likely end up sleeping with you anyways, you may decide on their appearance, personality, and archetype, if you are so inclined. If youd like them to look like a living (or previously living) person, they will not BE that person, and will come to embody their own personality and have a look inspired by that person instead.
Naturally, having a Hermes Charming Rogue in your keep will improve your connection to Hermes. Working with Hermes is not necessary to bond with your Charming Rogue successfully, but if Hermes takes a liking to you, he may initiate contact.
