Demeters Grounding Totem is a powerful Immortal Artifact that appears as a partially moss covered stone, a wooden sphere, a crystal of some kind, or a large seed, but can have its form changed by its owner through willpower or verbal request. Immortal Artifacts are non-physical objects that appear on the spirit and astral planes. The Grounding Totem is the manifestation of the Earth element through Demeters power. It offers stability, centering, and grounding. It serves as a solid connection to stone and plant life, and is used for the purposes of helping you gain focus, calm down, and/or get an adjustment of perspective. It is powerful and quite versatile, limited only by you. It is what you need for when your feet must be firmly planted on the ground.
The energy of the Grounding Totem is quite comforting, providing all the wonderful nurturing qualities of the Earth element. It is very pleasant to work with and can bring a lot of balance to life, especially those lacking in Earth energies. Those who suffer from anxiety or who get distracted easily may also find it especially helpful. It also works great at promoting a more realistic mindset and understanding how to deal with the problems before you get ahead of yourself. Ultimately, anyone who possesses it will be drawn to use it in very different ways. While I am proud of all of my listings, this is one of the few I use on a near daily basis and is a priceless part of my work day.
Working with a Grounding Totem is quite easy and intuitive. It guides you subtly so you can gain the best benefit out of each session with it. It works with the lower chakras, so you can expect some healing there as well, and an overall balancing of the entire auric system. Of course, you can also expect to get more out of your grounding and centering exercises if you make the Grounding Totem a part of them.
