Ares' Acolytes of War

These are beings quite special to Ares. They are beings who are on the path to understanding War and its many aspects. They are spirits and entities who have chosen this path for themselves, and either serve in direct dedication to Ares or think of Ares as more of a personal and dignified mentor. The spirits and beings who have chosen the path are incredibly diverse. They are human spirits, animal spirits, various races beings from beyond, and evolved energetic sentience from discarded weaponry and armaments, to name a few.

The path that theyve chosen, a path to War, may not be exactly what it seems on the surface. Typically, War may be thought of as blood lust, brutality, and the dehumanization of the enemy. It may be seen as destruction of families, livelihoods, nations, innocence, and humanity. While that is an undeniable shade of war, theres actually many shades to it. War exists when two sides are in conflict. War may be an extreme word to use for even a simple conflict like who gets the last cookie, but elements of War are within it as a greater concept. War, as it relates to this conflict, can actually deal with defusing conflict or helping to prevent or protect against future conflict. It is about defense as much as it is about offense. It is about personal power and uncovering ones strength. Its about exerting dominance and being assertive in situations when it is necessary. It is about courage and bravery and valor, and mastering fear in the face of insurmountable odds. War is a complex web of many intangible things. The Acolytes of War are on this path to learn what War means to them, to find their own path of strength and courage.

The Acolytes of War have personalities and energies all over the spectrum. There are some that are gentle, others that are rambunctious, some stoic, and others may be incredibly charismatic. They exist from light Gray Arts all the way to the darker end of the Dark Arts spectrum. A few rare ones are White Arts. Not all of them are humanoid, but many of them are. Each one of them is on this path for something different, and mastering War in their own way. This listing also gives access to beings all across the path, from just beginning to thoroughly advanced. Ares has brought this listing to me because he would like them to share their paths with another, and for them to help that person in turn.

Like everything else about them, their abilities are also quite varied. Their capabilities are determined by who/what they are, what they are wanting to learn on their path, and of course how far along they are on it. There are some beings who make for excellent healers, others make for fantastic protectors but some may excel more at taking on intruders as they come while others may work best at setting up defenses as a preemptive measure. Some work well as mentors, both in teaching you new things as well as helping you to really hone your strengths or limit your weaknesses. Some know how to create peace where conflict likes to roam while others may understand the art of conquering in the bedroom. Theres nothing you cant find in the Acolytes of War, and they often may know more than one specific aspect of War, as that is part of their path. However, above all else, they make for excellent friends and companions. All you need to do is ask for what you feel you may need, or you can also leave it all up to Ares. The types of Acolytes are limitless, so feel free to ask any questions.

Naturally, having an Acolyte of War will improve your connection to Ares. Working with Ares is not necessary to work with an Acolyte of War successfully, but if Ares takes a liking to you, he may initiate contact.

There are Tier options available. The higher the tier, naturally the more powerful and more accomplished Acolytes will come forward. As reference, the base tier of $30 usually has novices come through who are just beginning on their path. If you are wanting an Acolyte who is more advanced, consider $45 or $60 Tiers. Powerful Acolytes may come forward on lower tiers, but it not a guarantee, so please do not buy a lower tier and expect something more powerful to come through.
